Early Intervention Day - The Warren Center

At the last Council meeting, Mayor Bickerstaff presented a proclamation to The Warren Center and declared today, July 29, as Early Intervention Day in the City of Sachse.

The Warren Center provides early intervention services to more than 1,000 children with developmental delays and disabilities throughout the DFW metroplex. Partnerships among state agencies, physicians, other private care providers, and families with children with disabilities help ensure that services that enhance development and promote the health and well-being of Texas’ children and families are continued.

The City of Sachse encourages all residents to educate themselves on the signs of developmental delays and disabilities among infants and children. To learn more about the Warren Center follow the link to their website.

NEWS RELEASE: NTMWD Update, July 27, 2022

WYLIE, TX – July 27, 2022: The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) thanks the public and its Member Cities and Customers for conserving water while critical maintenance was completed last week at the Wylie Water Treatment Plant Complex which allowed the facility to resume normal operation. Widespread action to reduce water use, especially outdoors, preserved water resources until all work was finished. Although the maintenance activities were completed, aggressive water conservation is still needed as drought conditions and rising demands for water persist. Residents and businesses are strongly encouraged to follow their local water provider’s conservation guidance to reduce outdoor water use. More general water saving tips are available at www.ntmwd.com/SaveWater.
