Perot TECH Truck - Sat. March 5th

On Saturday, March 5th, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science will bring their amazing TECH Truck to the Sachse Public Library! The TECH Truck is a free hands-on, traveling outreach program that engages youth in maker-based science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM)experiences that foster creativity and confidence.

During this special STEAM event, staff from the Perot Museum will lead students in a LEGO Simple Machine Challenge during two sessions at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. This activity is recommended for students in 3rd through 5th grade, and is sure to be a blast! Free tickets for both sessions will be available at the front desk of the Library 30 minutes prior to each session.

Adult Craft Night - Tie-Die Bath Bombs - Thursday, March 10, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Join us for our latest Adult Craft Night activity on Thursday, March 10 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. This month, we'll be making beautiful Tie-Die Bath Bombs to use at home!

A limited number of tickets will be available for this event beginning at 6:00 p.m., with the program starting at 6:30 p.m.

Adults and teens 16+ are invited to join us on the second Thursday of each month for more fun and exciting Adult Craft Nights!

Calling all families and young readers! Join us for Family Game Night twice during the month of March, on Tuesday, March 8 and Tuesday, March 22 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Come and discover a new game to play with your family or enjoy one of our classic board games. Whichever game you pick, having fun with your family is the most important part!

During these events, readers of all ages are invited to spend time with Greta, the Reading Therapy Dog! Reading to a therapy dog is a great way for young readers to gain confidence in their ability to read out loud to others. Greta is specially trained to be an excellent listener, and she loves hearing children and teens read to her!
