Dallas County Mask Mandate

Dallas County has recently invoked a mask mandate for school districts, businesses, and county offices. Click here for more information.

Although we encourage residents to wear masks, we will not require them at any City facility. Stay safe Sachse!




D&D

Dungeons & Dragons at Sachse Public Library

Adults and teens can register for two D&D groups that meet and play at the Sachse Public Library. After-school D&D meets twice per month on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and D&D for adults and teens meets once per month on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sign-up here.

Scam

Senior Citizen Scam Protection 

 The Sachse Police Department, in partnership with the Laurie Schwenk Senior Activity Center will be hosting a Scam Prevention Presentation for our senior citizens. Various types of scams that are generally directed towards our seniors will be discussed. This event will take place at the Laurie Schwenk Senior Activity Center on  August 19, 2021  starting at 10:30 a.m. There is no need to sign up for this event, and it is offered to you free of charge. Hope to see you there!

Sachse Chamber of Commerce Presents: Cars Under the Stars Parade

With their Title Sponsor, Big Bass Towing, the Sachse Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Cars Under the Stars Parade TOMORROW, August 14. This parade will start and end in the Sachse High School Parking Lot, beginning at 6 p.m. (staging at 5 p.m.). The parade route is about eight miles long and will travel down Miles Road to Bunker Hill Road then all the way to Ben Davis Road, then to DeWitt Road, then Canyon Crest Drive, then Cody Lance, then Woodbridge Parkway to Sachse Road and back to Miles Road. Please expect delays as several intersections will be closed temporarily to allow the parade to proceed through town.

Discover Your Bulk & Brush Collection Day

The City has new times to set out your bulk trash and brush collection. Bulk trash needs to be placed out no earlier than 48 hours prior to your scheduled collection day. What about brush? It goes out on the Saturday prior to your collection day.

Please Note: no more than 6 cubic yards of brush/bulk are allowed to be out on the curb at one time.

Sachse's Chart For COVID-19 Info

Sachse maintains a list of active/recovered patients on its COVID-19 webpage. The chart includes the number of active cases, where the cases are located by county, the gender of the patients, status of the patients
(e.g., hospitalized, self-quarantined) and the number of recovered cases.
