St. Patrick's Day

Irish You Were Here

Dublin has canceled its St. Patrick's Day parade for the second year in a row because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But this year, organizers are planning a six-day virtual celebration and inviting the world to join.

Ireland's 2021 St. Patrick's Festival will run from today through Wednesday, March 17 on a dedicated website. The lineup includes performances by musicians, artists and marching bands. "While we cannot gather on the streets for the St. Patrick's Festival Parade this March 17, we are reimagining how we bring to life the heart and soul of the national parade," organizers said in a statement.

Submit Your Storm Damage Assessment Survey

The City of Sachse needs your help in assessing how much damage our community sustained from the storm. Emergency management professionals use a number of tools to determine how much damage an event created. One of those tools is the damage assessment contained in the survey link below.

If you sustained damage from the storm, please take a moment to complete the survey. This survey will provide important data to state and federal officials regarding the impacts of the storm. As noted in the survey, completing this form does not replace contacting your insurance provider, nor does it secure any kind of state or federal funding to help resolve the issues. The purpose is to try and measure how much damage occurred. Complete the survey by visiting: https://arcg.is/uOrOb.

Discover Your Bulk & Brush Collection Day
