Sonny is a six-year-old male Beagle. He is neutered, microchipped, and house trained. He needs a rabies vaccine, along with lots of walks and hugs. If you think Sonny might fit into your family, call the shelter and make an appointment to meet him at 972-675-9662.

Beagles are great family pets! They're low maintenance and offer the best traits found in dogs. They're amiable, intelligent, determined, even tempered and gentle. While Sonny might not resemble Snoopy, he's sure to win your heart.

Team Up to Fight Hunger

Team Up to Fight Hunger

Team Up to Fight Hunger is a collaboration of Sachse, Wylie, Murphy and area community partners to provide food to people and families in need while supporting local restaurants.

Families receive vouchers after completing a screening process with participating area food banks. Families can then take the vouchers to participating local restaurants, who have curated special menus for the families to choose from when ordering their meals. Each voucher is valued at $40 and provides a meal for a family of four. Families can go online at
www.TeamUptoFightHunger.com/vouchers  for the latest update about participating restaurants in the area and to check what each restaurant is serving for its customized meal.

“The City of Sachse and the Sachse Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) proudly support the Team Up to Fight Hunger program by providing help for local businesses impacted by COVID-19,” said the Director of SEDC Leslyn Blake.
