Virtual Story Time Thursday at 12 PM

Join us for a Virtual Story Time each Thursday at 12:00 p.m. on Facebook! Kids will love hearing stories, singing, and signing along with Miss Patrice.

If you missed last week's Virtual Story Time, don't worry!  You can watch all of our Virtual Story Time videos on the Library's Facebook page, as well as crafts, songs, and baby rhymes.

The Library is OPEN!

We're Open!

The Sachse Public Library is now open for in-person service and curbside pickup. The Library is open on Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Come in and pick out your books or reserve items online to receive them through curbside pickup or home delivery. Reserve one of the Library's public computers for a one-hour session, plus you can print, scan and fax documents. The Library's capacity is limited, so please be sure to practice good social distancing.

To keep you safe, we quarantine all returned Library items.

We quarantine items for your safety

For the safety of our patrons and staff, all items returned to the Sachse Public Library are quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before being checked-in. Because of this quarantine period, items may remain on your account for several days after you return them.

The Sachse Public Library does not charge fines for overdue items, so items will not accrue overdue fees while waiting to be checked-in. If overdue items prevent you from accessing the Library's online resources, please contact the Library by phone at 972-530-8966.

Thank you for your patience while we do our best to keep you safe.

Happy Independence Day!

Library closed for Independence Day

The Sachse Public Library will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Library items may be returned to the Library's two book return boxes, located on the east side of the Library and in the west parking lot. The Library will re-open on Tuesday, July 6 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

We wish you and your family a safe and happy Independence Day!
