Dallas County Commissioner J.J. Koch Visits Sachse

Last week, Dallas County Commissioner J.J. Koch met with Mayor Mike Felix and City Manager Gina Nash. The purpose of his visit was to tour the Michael J. Felix Community Center, tour the Sachse Road construction project, and look at the forthcoming Merritt Road overlay project. The Merritt Road overlay project was made possible through a 50/50 cost-share with Dallas County. The project is expected to start in the next three weeks and should be completed in April.

COVID-19

COVID-19 Response

The City of Sachse announced several changes in its operations due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. In an effort to help flatten the curve and limit the spread of the virus, the City closed City Hall and the lobby of the Public Safety building to the public until April 3. City staff are still available to assist residents by appointment, phone, or email. The City of Sachse prepared a comprehensive COVID-19 page on its website that contains daily updates.
