Join the Sachse Historical Society on Veterans Day Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. to honor our veterans at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony. 

New this year is the partnership with the Library of Congress Vietnam Veterans 50th Commemoration project. Several local Vietnam Veterans will be honored for their service. The speaker will be C.B. Perdue, a WWII Veteran whom was shot down during a bombing run over Germany and spent several months as a POW at Stalag Luft 1 in 1945. Also on display will be memorabilia from local residents and items from the 36th and 9th Texas Infantry Division. Please join us in honoring our local veterans.
