The Police Department is hosting a neighborhood meeting for AOR 1 on Thursday, February 3rd, at 7:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 1520 Blackburn Road. AOR 1 is the area bounded by Murphy Road, Blackburn Road, Ingram/Dewitt Roads, up to the city limits with Murphy. Residents living within these boundaries are AOR 1. The meeting will last about an hour and will give citizens an idea of the things the police are doing in response to a series of crimes in this area. There will be time for discussion, including questions, answers, suggestions and ideas citizens may have to offer. Together we can work to put a stop to these thefts.
