Pleasant Valley Road will be closed in both directions at the intersection with Merritt Road from 9:00 am on Friday, October 18th, until 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 19th. Message boards will be installed on both Merritt Road and Pleasant Valley Road at least seven days prior to the closure. In addition, detour signs will be installed and in place during the closure, to provide a detour to motorists via Sachse Road and Merritt Road.

Also, on a separate note, asphalt milling will take place on Pleasant Valley Road on Thursday, October 17th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The road will be open to traffic during this time with flaggers present.
