The Sachse Police Department and Sachse Fire-Rescue will be hosting a bicycle safety event on Saturday, July 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Sachse Public Library front parking lot. This event will teach young bicycle riders various rules of the road and allowing them to build confidence in their riding skills by going through fun obstacle courses. We encourage riders who are in Kindergarten through 8th grade to attend this event. All participants will be required to wear a helmet, and a parent or guardian must be present.
