To provide more flexibility for residents and Sachse businesses needing to come to City Hall, we are testing new hours of operation for the summer. Beginning May 31 through September 9, City Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays, and 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays. The Laurie Schwenk Senior Activity Center will be following this alternative schedule as well.
We will be asking visitors throughout the summer to share their thoughts on the scheduling change. Details on how you can give feedback for this pilot program will be announced soon!
Here are some options if you're needing a service Friday afternoons:
Utility Billing Payments - If you are needing to make a physical payment for a utility bill, there is an after hours drop-off box near the post office box in the parking lot, between City Hall and the Sachse Public Library.
RequestTracker - Is there a concern that you need addressed in a non-emergency manner? Report it to our online RequestTracker.
SeeClickFix - SeeClickFix is a reporting platform which allows residents to voice concerns to the City using an app on their smart phone/smart device or the portal on the City’s website. Residents can voice concerns ranging from non-emergency public safety issues to aesthetic issues. View the full list of service requests here.
Please note, these hours are for City Hall and the Sachse Senior Activity Center only. All other facilities will not have a change in their hours of operation and of course, this will not interfere with access to fire and police services.
