Get A Library Card
Apply for a Digital Library Card
Don’t have a Library Card but want to access the Library’s online collection of ebooks, audiobooks, movies and more? The Sachse Public Library offers a Digital Library Card that you can use to access our online resources.
- Fill out the Digital Library Card application online.
- Library staff will review your application and send the login for your new Digital Library Card by email. Digital Library Cards are normally processed within 24 hours, unless the application is received over a weekend or holiday.
- Use your Digital Library Card to access online materials from Hoopla and CloudLibrary.
Digital Library Cards are good for one year, and do not permit the checkout of materials from the Library’s in-house collection. Digital Library Card holders may upgrade their Digital Library Card to one that will allow the checkout of physical items by visiting the Sachse Public Library. If you already have a traditional Library Card, there’s no need to apply for a Digital Library Card, as your Library Card already gives you access to all of our online resources. Applicants must be a resident of the state of Texas.
How do I get a library card?

A valid photo I.D. is required, as well as a document that shows your current physical address, such as a utility bill.
