The 2017 Comprehensive Plan listed the correction of the regulatory framework and entitlements for PGBT as an immediate priority. This spring, Council contracted with Gateway Planning to craft new regulations to allow for meaningful development of the Turnpike area in conformance with the vision as outlined in the Plan.
Stakeholder meetings were held in June and September, and a joint work session of the City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission was held on October 9th. Public hearings for the city-initiated rezoning are scheduled for October 23rd (P&Z) and November 6th (Council).
