The City has started a wellness program for its employees
which includes once per year health screenings and information for
improving on the results of the screenings if need be. This
benefit is through Brinson Benefits, who serves as an independent
resource to resolve any concern employees or their families may have about
this
benefit program.
FLU SHOTS PROVIDED TO CITY EMPLOYEES WHO
PARTICIPATED IN WELLNESS PROGRAM

Sachse Fire Rescue Specialist Clay Hodge and
Building Inspector Larry Underwood (shown at right) receive their flu
shots. Employees who participated in the City's first-ever
Wellness Program were eligible to receive the shots free of
charge. Employees who did not participate in the Wellness Program
were able to purchase the vaccine at a reduced cost.
