Creative Arts with Able Mindset

On Saturday, March 18 at 2 p.m., the Library will collaborate with Able Mindset to host a monthly creative arts program for students with disabilities. Able Mindset is a Sachse-based non-profit group focused on empowering persons living with disabilities.

Story Times at the Sachse Library

Each week, families are invited to join us for Story Times at the Sachse Public Library. 

From now until Tuesday, March 14, the Library will host a new Family Story Time on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. for all ages. The Library will also host a Toddler Story Time each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 18 months to 3 years, followed by a Preschool Story Time on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. for children ages 3-5. Finally parents of babies up to 18 months can join us for a special Baby Bounce story time on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Each of our weekly Story Times feature age-appropriate books, songs, rhymes, and other activities for children and parents. We hope to see you soon!

The Sachse Public Library is thrilled to announce that Library users can now access Movies, TV series, Comics, and Graphic Novels online from CloudLibrary. This new content is in addition to the Library's selection of eBooks, Audiobooks, Magazines, and Newspapers already available from CloudLibrary.

All of the newly added content from CloudLibrary, including Movies, TV series, Comics, and Graphic Novels, as well as Magazines and Newspapers, are available for unlimited borrowing with a library card from the Sachse Public Library. Library users may also borrow up to three eBooks or Audiobooks at a time for up to 3 weeks per title. 

To access eBooks, audiobooks, movies, newspapers, and magazines from CloudLibrary, library card holders can download the CloudLibrary app for their phone, tablet, or mobile device, or click here. To access the new digital comics and graphic novels, library card holders can download the LibraryPass app or click here to login with your library card number and PIN.
