"Encanto" at the Library on Monday!

This Monday, March 14, kids and families are invited to join us for a special afternoon showing of Disney's "Encanto" at 2:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.

Feel free to bring a small blanket or comfortable folding chair to sit on, as well as drinks (with a closeable lid) and snacks to enjoy. The Library will also provide popcorn and candy for attendees while supplies last.

Free Popcorn at the Sachse Library

Spring break is the perfect time to relax and watch a movie with your family, or to enjoy some "me time" while munching on delicious popcorn. Starting Tuesday, March 15, you can pick up a free bag of popcorn when you check out two or more DVDs from the Sachse Public Library while supplies last.

A Sachse Public Library Card is required to check out Library materials, including DVDs. Library cards are always free, and are available to any Texas resident. Just bring in your photo-ID and proof of your current address, and you can walk out with a brand new library card, a bag of popcorn, and up to seven DVDs!

Join the In-N-Out Cover to Cover Club Reading Program

Earn a Free Burger from In-N-Out!

Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to join the In-N-Out Cover to Cover Reading Program! Children who participate will earn a voucher for a free hamburger or cheeseburger from In-N-Out for every 400 minutes read, up to a maximum of 1,200 minutes (3 free burgers).

To get started, visit the Sachse Public Library and pick up a reading log. The Cover to Cover Reading Program ends on Monday, April 25, so there's plenty of time to pick up your reading log and earn a free burger!

Family Game Night on March 22nd

Calling all families and young readers! Join us for Family Game Night at the Sachse Public Library on Tuesday, March 22 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Come and discover a new game to play with your family, or enjoy one of our classic board games. Whichever game you pick, having fun with your family is the most important part!

During this event, readers of all ages are invited to spend time with Greta, the Reading Therapy Dog! Reading to a therapy dog is a great way for young readers to gain confidence in their ability to read out loud to others. Greta is specially trained to be an excellent listener, and she loves hearing children and teens read to her!
