Rental Registration Program

On June 5, 2023, the City of Sachse City Council adopted and approved a Rental Registration Program. 

This program requires rental property owners to register their rental property with the City, and then thereafter, notify the City if there is a change in tenancy. 

This is solely a registration program designed to provide the City with contact information for both the property owner and the tenant. There are no inspections required and this program is MANDATORY.

A completed Rental Registration Program application for each property is required from the property owner by January 31, 2024, and registration updates will continue to be required within 30 days of a change in occupancy or tenancy. There are no registration fees associated with this program. 

In an effort to keep rental property owners and tenants informed about changes to policy or procedure, or to provide specific inspection information about your property, we are asking owners of rental properties to use the updated links below to provide us with a working email address. This address will not be given out or provided to anyone not associated with the Rental Registration Program. If you do not currently have an internet service provider or email address, you may set up a free account with services such as Yahoo, Google, Hotmail, or MSN in order to be able to receive future correspondence, renewal notices, or other necessary information about your property or the rental program.
