Police Department

Welcome Message From Chief Bryan Sylvester

On behalf of the men and women of the Sachse Police Department welcome to our website. Our staff prides itself on being accessible, accountable and dedicated to the citizens we proudly serve. We believe in partnering with our community, providing innovative services and programming of benefit to our citizens and being responsive to concerns beyond crime control. Our Volunteers in Policing, Cops & Campers, E-Watch, and Video Crime Watch programs are a few of many services we offer to promote citizen engagement, transparency and foster trust within the community.

I invite you to learn more about your department, our services and opportunities. Connect with us on Facebook, Nixle, attend a community event or stop by the station.

Our commitment and mission is to partner with and serve you, our citizens, so that Sachse remains a safe place to live, work and raise a family.

                  Upcoming Community Meetings

Our citizens are invited to attend one of three community meetings occurring over the next few weeks. I will be providing an overview of crime trends in the city for 2017, activities and accomplishments of your police department and what the department is planning for 2018.

Meetings are scheduled for next Tuesday February 27th, Wednesday March 7th, and Monday March 12th. All of the meeting will be held at the City Hall Council Chambers. Each meeting will begin at 6:30pm.

My staff and I are excited to share all we have to offer regarding services and programs available to our citizens and we look forward to hearing your thoughts, concerns and suggestions on how we can serve you better.
