Responsibilities


The Information Technology Division of the Finance Department manages the city's computer network infrastructure and components. The division ensures that computers, printers, telephone systems, and other similar systems operate efficiently. Other responsibilities include:
  • Operation of an internal help desk to efficiently track calls for assistance
  • Planning and preparation of IT related items in the annual budget
  • Routine evaluation of equipment, refurbishing and reallocating or replacing faulty or outdated equipment as necessary
